Rent the Academy Theater

Looking for a place to host a birthday party, film premiere, corporate meeting or other special event? The Academy Theater rents its auditoriums for private or public events and offers great party packages for children and adults.

Children's Party Package

Children’s party packages start at $175 and include:

• ›Admission for 12 to one of our regularly scheduled family movies. Seats will be roped off for you so you all can sit together.
• ›Use of our private upstairs party room for an hour before the movie.
• ›Small soda or juice box for each guest.
• ›Two 16” Flying Pie pizzas (one cheese and one 1-topping of your choice).
• ›Kiddie-sized popcorn for each guest.
• ›Tables, chairs, tablecloth, plates, napkins, utensils, cups, straws and lids are all provided.

Expecting more than 12 guests? No problem. For $6 per guest, you get admission to the movie, a small drink and popcorn, with additional pizzas available by the pie. Maximum seating capacity in the party room is 24 people.

Adult's Party Package

Adult’s party packages start at $550 and include:

• ›Your own private theater for 2 ½ hours to watch a movie of your choice.
• ›4 18" Flying Pie Pizzas of your choice.
• ›6 pitchers of beer or bottles of wine.
• ›4 pitchers of soda.
• ›Endless popcorn.
• ›Tables in the theater, tablecloth, plates, napkins, utensils and cups are all provided.

Food and beverage in this package is figured for 30 people. If you are expecting more guests and would like to add on to your party, additional pizzas and beverages are available by the pie or pitcher. Maximum seating capacity for the theater in this package is 65.

Rent a Theater

We rent our theaters out for private or public events. You can run a dvd/blu-ray, or choose from one of our current films. Theater rentals are generally 2 ½ hours, but additional time is available. Food and beverages can be served to you within the theater, or you and your guests can make purchases at our concession counter.

• ›Our SMALLER THEATER seats 65 and rents for $300. Rentals after 5:00 Friday – Sunday also have a Food & Beverage Minimum of $250.
• ›Our LARGER THEATER seats 130 and rents for $500. Rentals after 5:00 Friday – Sunday also have a Food & Beverage minimum of $450.

Public events such as film premieres and special screenings may charge an entrance fee of any amount. All money collected from entrance fees goes to the renter who pays the Academy Theater the flat fee for the rental.

Off Hours Rentals for Schools & Groups

Have a classroom of children or a group that would like to screen a movie before our regular business hours? We offer special rates to groups at 12:00PM or earlier on weekdays and 10:00AM or earlier on weekends and holidays.

Our theaters rent for HALF PRICE during off-hours. For 2 hours (not including food and beverage) rates are:

• ›$150 for our SMALLER THEATER (seats 65).
• ›$250 for our LARGER THEATER (seats 130).

Or for GROUPS OF 25 OR MORE, we offer special off-hours combo rates that include rental of the theater for 2 hours:

• ›$6.00 per person includes admission, a small soda or juice box, and a kiddie popcorn.
• ›$6.25 per person includes admission, a small soda or juice box and a slice of cheese pizza.
• ›$6.50 per person includes admission, a small soda or juice box and a slice of pepperoni or other one-topping pizza.
